KAI Scissors
KAI Scissors
Kai 5000 series scissors are made of a hardened steel that allows it to keep its edge for longer. It also features a soft-grip handle that helps to reduce fatigue, even over long periods of cutting.
Choose from:
4 inch: The Kai N5100 4 inch Needlecraft scissor's sharp, pointed tips allow for detailed cutting and trimming. Very popular for trimming threads, Hardanger embroidery, beadwork, rug hooking, and fly tying for fishermen.
5-1/2 inch: Quilters love the Kai N5135, 5 1/2 inch scissor for trimming “dog ears,” clipping threads when chain piecing, and general embroidery cutting tasks. This smooth, comfortable scissor is perfect in your sewing kit for take along projects and sewing classes as well.
8 inch: Serrated blades help grip the fabric on satin, silky, slippery fabrics. Excellent on cotton for cutting multiple layers of patchwork piecing.
The eight inch N3210SE is ideal for longer cuts and would be considered a standard length. The serrated teeth are considered a micro serration, not to be confused with a pinking blade.
